Teacher Trainings

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Yoga is an art, a science and a philosophy.  Like these three categories, it must evolve, picking up where the teachers of the previous generation left off and moving it forward.  Patanjali gave us the road map for stabilizing the mind.  Iyengar gave us the techniques to develop the body.  Today we use the poses of yoga to strengthen our body, to be introspective, discerning and self-correcting as techniques to connect with our Spirit.  The next generation of yogis will have more insight into their Soul and mastery over their minds and bodies.  At MOSAIC we train the next generation of yogis.  You’re only one pose away.  Join Us.

Yoga’s journey to the west created a new wave of scientific interest in the ancient practice.  Throughout the course, we bridge the gap between both the eastern and western modalities, illuminating the point at which science and tradition meet.  In addition, we break down the anatomy of over 60 individual yoga poses their variations, and how to modify using props and hands-on adjustments.

Yoga dates back more than 5,000 years.  For much of that time, the practice looked to answer the great philosophical question, “Who am I”?  Today, the history of the past gives us a detailed and sophisticated system for exploring and answering this question.  We will utilize this system to cultivate a deeper understanding of self, stabilize the mind, and gain greater insight into our thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

The art of teaching yoga comes from the skillful blending of both the science and philosophy of the practice.  Learning to “see” the entire room, make on the fly adjustments to your sequence, and be a part of the flow, rather than just teaching it, is what makes the difference between a good class and a great one.

What Practitioners Are Saying

Don’t just take it from us, let our students do the talking!

The MOSAIC 200-hour yoga teacher training program was truly a transformational life experience for me, not only because I deepened my knowledge of asana and learned how to lead a yoga class, but also because of the self-reflection and personal growth that the program encourages in its trainees.  MOSAIC provides an environment that is ideal for turning inward, expert teachers, excellent training materials, but most of all gives one the skills to cultivate peace within oneself and the tools to share those skills with the world.

Deb Fine

“Yoga is more than the asanas. Mosaic’s YTT taught me this and so much more. This journey helped me rediscover my strengths and gifts, as well as identify weaknesses, which inspired incredible, personal growth. I have a renewed sense of confidence, purpose, and self-love. I enjoyed how the training objectives were delivered in an engaging, conversational and inclusive way that encouraged our class to connect, share and learn from each other.

Jamie Inn

“The experience of Mosaic’s YTT program has been life changing for me. On top of learning the history, philosophy, and asanas of yoga, I learned to trust in myself and my abilities. This program focuses not only on learning about yoga but also about yourself and connecting further to your true nature. The practice of teaching yoga reflected a lot of the unnecessary self-doubt I had and showed me how powerful I can really be. . . The community, connection, and love that this program fosters are truly priceless and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is considering it.”

Yoga has taught me what it means to live inspired. I believe that teaching is an act of service that embodies Maya Angelou’s quote, “When you learn, teach. When you get, give.” This is the quintessence of my core beliefs as a yoga teacher.

As a practitioner of yoga first, I am committed to learning in perpetuity. I am certain that the totality of yoga has something to offer you if you come open, willing and ready to fall madly in love with where you are. Strength and Flexibility are not required, just an open mind and an open heart.

My classes are a blend of mind/body integration and an emphasis on SOUL.

I look forward to meeting you and learning with YOU.

Faith, hope, yoga and meditation have been my saviors. I’ve been on the awakened path of spiritual development for 15 years, studying yoga, energy medicine, metaphysics and mysticism. I co-founded MOSAIC in 2010 with the vision to Awaken & Uplift the consciousness of the world, one Soul at a time. I strive to serve as an inspiring guide to those who are exploring the mystery of the Divine.

Prior to co-founding MOSAIC, I spent over a decade working in corporate HR.

Erin Ayres

Erin Ayres

Learn More About Erin

Erin Ayres has been a faithful practitioner of multiple forms of yoga for the past ten years. Over the previous decade, Erin has continually expanded her practice, experimenting at various points with the following styles of yoga: Hot, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Baptiste Power Vinyasa, and Yin/Restorative. In the spring of 2014, Erin began teacher training and has completed her 200–hour YTT at MOSAIC, 100-hour Hot Yoga certification, as well as a Yin/Restorative certification. As far as teaching philosophy is concerned, Erin passionately believes in the importance of creating her own dynamic sequences. All of Erin’s classes—whether Yin or Vinyasa—have a specific focus on postures that flow logically and effortlessly into one another. If your mind is overly fixated on perfectly performing a pose, then the gateway to the heart is blocked. Erin believes that the essence of yoga is to lovingly reunite us with our strayed heart.

Learn More About Ryan

I am a co-founder of MOSAIC. What I am most devoted to is the art of leadership as a noble endeavor.

I’ve spent 15 years asking myself, “What does it take to develop leaders?”  This has led to more questions, more study, and no complete answers.  By contemplating this question, I’ve discerned a few basic principles, virtues, and practices that have led to the creation of the Theory of Sagacious Leadershipand the Light of Leadership training series.

The writings of the Warriors, Sages, Saints, and Philosophers have served as teachers, guides, and anchors as I continue to seek Truth.

Currently, I specialize in creating leadership development programs for US Special Operations Units.

Prior to MOSAIC, I served as a Captain in the US Marine Corps, a strategic manager at the Center for Creative Leadership, and a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting and KPMG Consulting.  Previous clients have been Google, Microsoft, Starbucks, T-Mobile, Yahoo, Amgen, Genentech, Deloitte, and the Department of Defense.  I also earned a M.S. in Leadership and have completed over 2,500 hours of leadership training.

I pray each of us finds our way to the truth of who we are, why we are here, and what we are here to fulfill.
