MOSAIC’s commitment to community is one of the cornerstones of our mission and model. Every one of us benefits from the “mosaic” created by joining our experiences and exploring life together.
We are your home for healing, and, this springs, in large part, from sharing our experiences collectively. It may occur in one of our uplifting Yoga classes or through transformational moments in a Soul or Wisdom training, or as you create a path for greater well-being through one of our Health programs.
From the courtyard directly in front of our yoga studio, to the eclectic neighborhood eateries and coffee shops within walking distance, you’ll actively see the MOSAIC community connecting in raw, bright and colorful ways.
At MOSAIC we consciously meet one another along our paths and, as a community, explore our potential for healing, strengthening and awakening. Together, we live in the light.
Our Community Outreach program is new and growing, and we’ve engaged in a collaboration with local nonprofit, Shakti Rising. Like MOSAIC, Shakti Rising is dedicated to changing the world by developing embodied leaders through healing arts, leadership cultivation and education.
MOSAIC donated Reiki Level 1 training to all Shakti Rising staff which has since been integrated into its clinical, educational and leadership services. MOSAIC also extends free yoga memberships to Shakti staff and the women in its recovery program, providing daily opportunities for healing. Anna, a Shakti staff member, shared that “MOSAIC’s Yin Yoga has completely changed the way I approach yoga. I leave the class feeling rested, rejuvenated and connected to spirit. I truly feel like the world becomes a lighter place during the class.”
This partnership is deeply nourishing and we look forward to growing our shared vision to create positive social change through the sacred work of healing our bodies and changing the world.
Light the Night
Light the Night is a MOSAIC Community Event held the first Saturday of every month. A MOSAIC yoga graduated teacher volunteers their time to lead a candlelight donation yoga class from 6-7pm class. They choose a charity to support and all proceeds from the evening go to that charity. After enjoying class everyone gathers at Counterpoint for much deserved food and drinks.
We invite you to share your light with us as we join together to make yoga more accessible, support new yoga teachers, and uplift our community!
